We are looking for a skilled Billing Specialist to join us in supporting our growing billing operations.

Position Overview:

As a Billing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in our billing process by editing prebills, transmitting electronic invoices, and working directly with attorneys and clients to ensure smooth and accurate billing operations. This is a hybrid position based in our Wilmington, DE office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and finalize prebills and distribute for attorney review
• Process time and disbursement transfers and corrections
• Transmit electronic bills using Billblast and various e-billing platforms
• Liaise with billing attorneys to resolve e-billing issues and ensure timely submissions
• Submit appeal, accruals, and budgets through client e-billing portals
• Generate ad hoc reports for management as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of legal billing experience (preferred)
• Experience with Billblast or other e-billing platforms (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with legal billing software such as SurePoint, Aderant, or 3E (preferred)
